Quirky, great family run property. Beautiful location in the centre of the town. Very amiable staff. Adjacent to beach and restaurants. Adjacent to old center of Martigues, pretty village.

I chose this hotel because of the high rating but unfortunately the descriptions were not true. The hotel building is not new or refurbished at all. There is no separate bathroom, the shower is in the room. There is no 24 hour reception, you have to check in by a machine which hardly ever works. Because of the machine we were locked out of the hotel for a whole afternoon, as there is no reception. The staff was friendly but they spoke only French.

Our stay was a brilliant experience. This place was quirky and the staff was genuinely helpful. It had central location close to Slipstream Sculpture. Got the same a nice size double room for reading etc booked online, loved that...

The rooms at Hotel le 5 are absolutely fantastic! They are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The wooden floors give the room a warm and cozy feeling, and the satellite flat-screen TV is a great way to relax after a long day of traveling. The private bathroom is also a plus, especially with the choice of either a bath or shower. As a business traveler, I really appreciated the air conditioning and soundproofing in the room, ensuring a peaceful and restful stay.

Personally, I would have preferred a shower in the private bathroom instead of a bathtub. But hey, that's just my personal preference and I understand others may enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub.

The staff is harmful and the value for money is very good.

The room was dirty: bed sheet with cigarette holes and suspect tracks, lot of dust and some detritus under the bed. The breakfast was a little too cheap.

The hotel is located in the centre of the village, in a quite side street. It's completely new, very clean and deserves more then two stars. There's a private parking 10mts from the building; staff is very kind and speaks english. Rooms have key card, they are large and bright, with fantastic showers. Didn't have breakfast there but seemed delicious. Excellent hotel, would recommend it to everyone.

We were just there one night, so not a long time to get a good impression of the hotel. The women on the desk was nice and coped with our school-level French. The hotel is in a great position and it was very good to have off-street parking. The room was clean, pretty, and the bed comfortable.

It was a little difficult getting up the stairs with luggage, but this is often the case in Europe.

Location: the hotel was close enough to the old center of Martigues, pretty village and beach and all restaurants. Comforts of a nice size double room for reading etc were fabulous...

The small room here was recently renovated and had a cozy feel, perfect for relaxing and reading, at a reasonable price, with the added benefit of being close to restaurants and bars.

Very minimalist with electronic check in, no phone, no soap etc. Staff not always present.....

Convenient location near the beach and airport, with plenty of restaurants nearby. the rooms are modern and affordable, perfect for relaxing. 🏖️

Staff went above and beyond, accommodating limited mobility. Spacious room with comfortable bed and ample lighting. Flexible breakfast timings and generous portions. Convenient check-out times and bag storage. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This place has lots of great modern rooms to relax in and is in an unbeatable location very close to all restaurants and the beach.

Conveniently located with easy 24-hour card entry access. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are clean, with good air conditioning. Breakfast is continental and of good quality. Private parking available.
